Notes,
1. Unless noted, all events / meetings will be held at Lake Miona Recreation Center in the Enterprise Room.
Monthly meetings start at 6:00 PM.
2. Below are the events planned. Cost where given is for food and / or entertainment. Members will be
advised of any changes. It would be appreciated if members could notify the person tracking responses
as soon as possible if they plan to attend. Head counts are required to ensure sufficient seating, food, etc.
Arrangements for both seating and food are made DAYS BEFORE the event, not the day of.
3. The intent of this page is to simply list the upcoming events. Details are not included due to the number
of changes that usually occur. Members will be informed of the changes in plenty of time to make the
necessary preparations. Contact the president or any board member if you have a suggestion for the
entertainment in the mettings.
4. The Bourre’ events shown below are actually of a separate club. Information given on the club web site
because it is very strongly supported by its members. ~~ Unless noted, the time will be from 7PM to 9PM.
Besides members of the Louisiana Club, the game is also offered to all Villagers. Your level of play is
irrelative because there will be tables available for beginners, intermediate and advanced. The rules of the
game is posted on the Louisiana Club’s website in a sub-menu under Miscellaneous. A $10 bag of chips will
be available when you arrive. It would be very appreciative if y’all would PLEASE bring $5 or $10 bills.
5. For the golf outings in the months of September through May, there is a limit of 32 players in any outings.
Any request received after the limit is reached will be laced on a wait list. It is imperative that you let us
know eight days before the day of play if you plan to join in. The player lineup is normally made one week
in advance. There is no limit in the number of golfers from October through April PROVIDED there are more
than 32 golfers. ~~ A fee of $3.00 is collected for placement prizes and closest to the pin, one ladies and one the
men. The after golf social immediately following the golf is dependent on the course(s) played.
Upcoming Event Schedule;
June 18, 2026, Monthly meeting, at Lake Miona Recreation Center in the Enterprise Room. Time 6PM. Food served
will be hamburgers. We will furnish buns, tomato, lettuce, pickles and a bag of chips. We will also provide mustard,
ketchup and mayo. Y’all are welcome to bring a side dish (potato salad, beans, coleslaw, etc.,) for your table. Bring
a slice of cheese of your choosing if you would like it on your burger. Dessert will be vanilla ice cream. We will
also have root beer and Coca Cola if y’all would like to make a float. Community coffee, ice and cold water will be
available. BYOB.
Cost is $5 per member. Meeting for CLUB MEMBERS ONLY. Single members are allowed ONE GUEST.
VILLAGES ID REQUIRED. Entertainment will be the Dynamic Dog Club Tr-r-raveling Circus.
