Notes,
1. Unless noted, all events / meetings will be held at Lake Miona Recreation Center in the Enterprise Room.
Monthly meetings start at 6:00 PM.
2. Below are the events planned. Cost where given is for food and entertainment. Members will be
advised of any changes. It would be appreciated if members could notify the person tracking responses
as soon as possible if they plan to attend. Head counts are required to ensure sufficient seating, food, etc.
Arrangements for both seating and food are made DAYS BEFORE the event, not the day of.
3. The intent of this page is to simply list the upcoming events. Details are not included due to the number
of changes that usually occur. Members will be informed of the changes in plenty of time to make the
necessary preparations.
4. The Bourre’ events shown below are actually of a separate club. Information given on the club web site
because it is very strongly supported by its members. ~~ Unless noted, the time will be from 7PM to 9PM.
Besides members of the Louisiana Club, the game is also offered to all Villagers. Your level of play is
irrelative because there will be tables available for beginners, intermediate and advanced. The rules of the
game is posted on the Louisiana Club’s website in a sub-menu under Miscellaneous. A $10 bag of chips will
be available when you arrive. It would be very appreciative if y’all would PLEASE bring $5 or $10 bills.
5. For the golf outings in the months of September through May, there is a limit of 32 players in any outings.
Any request received after the limit is reached will be laced on a wait list. It is imperative that you let us
know eight days before the day of play if you plan to join in. The player lineup is normally made one week
in advance. ~~ A fee of $3.00 is collected for placement prizes and closest to the pin, one ladies and one the
men. The after golf social immediately following the golf is dependent on the course(s) played.

February 25, 2026, Allon’s Jouer Au Bourre’ in Laurel Manor's Washington Room (see note 4 in the page heading).
March 4, 2026, Monthly golf outing. Tee time request will be made 5 to 7 days prior to the day of play. You should let
us know by February 23 if you are interested in playing. Note, there is a limit of 32 golfers, anyone asking to play
after the limit is reached will be place on a waitlist. As part of the golf outing is a social gathering at near by
CC or restaurant following the game. Please indicate if you plan to attend the social when you RSVP the golf.
March 8, 2026 - Our annual Club Catfish Fry will be held on Sunday, March 8 at LAUREL MANOR RECREATION
CENTER in the LINCOLN ROOM. Time 5:30PM. Cost is $15 per member. Catfish Fry is for CLUB MEMBERS
ONLY. Single members are welcome to bring a guest. VILLAGE or GUEST ID’s ARE REQUIRED. This will
also be our monthly Club meeting.
The Club will provide coleslaw made by Club members Tina Roy and Sarah Johnson. Members are welcome
to bring potato salad or other side dishes for their table. Dessert will be provided by the Club. Community coffee,
ice and cold water will also be provided. BYOB.
Entertainment will be music provided by keyboardist Jerry Milstein. There will 50/50 with cash prizes and
4 bottles of wine to be given away. It is VERY IMPORTANT y’all email Richard Calais by SUNDAY, MARCH 1
if y’all plan on attending so we may plan accordingly.
We will also have an election for new board members which will take office officially on April 1. We will also be accepting dues for the upcoming year. Dues are $20 per member or $40 per couple. A box will be placed
at the front entrance where y’all can drop your check. Checks should be made out to "Louisiana Club" Treasurer
Sarah Johnson will also accept cash.
