Notes,
1. Unless noted, all events / meetings will be held at Lake Miona Recreation Center in the Enterprise Room.
Monthly meetings start at 6:00 PM.
2. Below are the events planned. Cost where given is for food and entertainment. Members will be
advised of any changes. It would be appreciated if members could notify the person tracking responses
as soon as possible if they plan to attend. Head counts are required to ensure sufficient seating, food, etc.
Arrangements for both seating and food are made DAYS BEFORE the event, not the day of.
3. The intent of this page is to simply list the upcoming events. Details are not included due to the number
of changes that usually occur. Members will be informed of the changes in plenty of time to make the
necessary preparations.
4. The Bourre’ events shown below are actually of a separate club. Information given on the club web site
because it is very strongly supported by its members. ~~ Unless noted, the time will be from 7PM to 9PM.
Besides members of the Louisiana Club, the game is also offered to all Villagers. Your level of play is
irrelative because there will be tables available for beginners, intermediate and advanced. The rules of the
game is posted on the Louisiana Club’s website in a sub-menu under Miscellaneous. A $10 bag of chips will
be available when you arrive. It would be very appreciative if y’all would PLEASE bring $5 or $10 bills.
5. For the golf outings in the months of September through May, there is a limit of 32 players in any outings.
Any request received after the limit is reached will be laced on a wait list. It is imperative that you let us
know eight days before the day of play if you plan to join in. The player lineup is normally made one week
in advance. ~~ A fee of $3.00 is collected for placement prizes and closest to the pin, one ladies and one the
men. The after golf social immediately following the golf is dependent on the course(s) played.

May 7, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by April 28 if interested in playing AND if you intend
on attending the social. Course, time and social location should be known a couple of days before day of play.

May 11, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The food planned for May is a crawfish boil. Due to the logistics (availability,
cost, etc.) details are not known at the time this update is made. Notice to all members will be sent out when

June 4, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by May 26 if interested in playing AND if you intend
on attending the social. Course, time and social location should be known a couple of weeks before day of play.

June 19, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The entertainment for the meeting will be Left-Right-Center. Each participant
is expected to bring nine (9) quarters, three for each game. The rules as well as an instructional video will be
sent out with other meeting details. Food will be Hebert's burgers, burger fixings and chips. Dessert TBD.

July 2, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by June 23 if interested in playing AND if you intend
on attending the social. Course, time and social location should be known a couple of weeks before day of play.
July 17, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The food planned for the meeting is a club favorite, potluck. The club will supply
the dessert. Entertainment will be Bean Bag Baseball and Corn Hole.

August 6, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by July 28 if interested in playing AND if you intend
on attending the social. Course, time and social location should be known a couple of weeks before day of play.
August 21, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The food planned is volunteer member supplied chili and TBD dessert. The
entertainment will be LSU Bingo. All monies collected in the sale of the cards will be given out in cash prizes.

September 3, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by August 25 if interested in playing AND if you intend
on attending the social. Course, time and social location should be known a couple of weeks before day of play.
September 18, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The food planned is wraps and Zaps chips. The entertainment is undecided but
it will be either Horse Racing or Casino Night with Zam. Cost will be $10.00 per person.

October 1, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by September 22 if interested in playing AND if you
intend on attending the social. Course, time and social location will not be known until September 28.
October 16, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The food planned is Bratwurst with grilled onions to fit in with October Fest.
Entertainment will be the T-Time band and Halloween costume night. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes.

November 5, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by October 22 if interested in playing AND if you
intend on attending the social. Course, time and social location will not be known until October 2.
November 23, 2025, Monthly Meeting. NOTE, the location for this meeting is Laurel Manor. The food will be
fried turkey for the club's annual turkey fry to fit in with Thanksgiving. Members with the last name starting with
"A" through "M" are requested to bring a dessert. Entertainment will be Bingo. Cost will be $15 per person.
November 26, 2025, Allon’s Jouer Au Bourre’ in Laurel Manor's Washington Room (see note 4 in the page heading).
December 3, 2025, Monthly Golf Outing. Please let us know by November 24 if interested in playing AND if you
intend on attending the social. Course, time and social location will not be known until November 30.
December 18, 2025, Monthly Meeting. The food will be member volunteered Gumbo and rice. Members with the
last name starting with "N" through "Z" are requested to bring a dessert. Entertainment TBD. If as in the past,
there will be no cost for the evening.
December 24, 2025. There will be NO Allon’s Jouer Au Bourre’ this month.
January 15, 2026. There will be no meeting due to the Mardi Gras Ball being only two weeks away.
February 1, 2026. Booking at Savannah for the club's annual Mardi Gras Ball.
